Dick Delingpole
Artist, Illustrator, Re-enactor
I was born in Worcester, where I live today and where I earn my living as a graphic designer. However, I have been a painter all my life.
I went to Art College (Foundation at Bournville, Degree at Cheltenham then MA at Belfast).
Having initially painted in oils I discovered the joys of watercolour as a medium: the ability to mix a colour that is still usable the next day, the ability to pick up a brush and start painting immediately and the relatively easy creation of sensible sized paintings which can be easily printed.
The subject matter reflects my hobby of historical re-enactment.
I have variously been a Civil War Pikeman and Musketeer, a Napoleonic soldier from both the British and French sides, and more recently a French machine-gunner of the First World War and a French soldier of 1940.

The items listed here fall into two categories: stuff that is made and ready to send and stuff that will need preparing.
The ready to send stuff includes various sets of mounted cigarette cards and some of the prints. Because of the cost of producing high-quality giclee prints I don't keep many in stock, especially as there are now nearly 40 in the series, so these are generally printed to order unless specified.
Mugs and t-shirts are good to go if I have your size in stock.
